A Task List for Level 40+ Trailblazers

SEO Title: A Task List for Level 40+ Trailblazers

Meta Description: When Honkai Star Rail account holders reach Trailblaze Level 40 and beyond, they get the 'endgame.' Here are some activity suggestions for those players.

What to do when you reach the interlude

There will come a time when Honkai Star Rail account holders reach the end of the currently available quests. Depending on your quest completion rate, you can still have some side quests. However, that, too, will run out eventually.

This usually happens at around 38-40 Trailblaze Level, called the 'endgame.' It's as close as it can get to one for live service games.

Tasks You Can Do

Here are some activities you can do while waiting for the next section of the Trailblaze quests.

Daily Objectives

Of course, you shouldn't ignore the dailies and weeklies the game gives you. These tasks provide easy-to-obtain EXP materials (characters, Relics, and Light Cones), Ascension materials, and other resources for your Honkai: Star Rail account. Plus, for F2P players, it remains a reliable source of Stellar Jades for obtaining Warp Passes.

Farm Materials

These materials mean Ascension, Trace, and EXP materials. They're self-explanatory. You need Ascension materials (Stagnant Shadows, various drops) to increase a character's level cap. Trace materials (Echoes of War, other materials) are for upgrading their abilities. EXP materials (Calyxes, Daily Training, Salvage Relics) are for enhancing Light Cones, Relics, and characters.

All these things will improve your team's DPS output or utility in battle, so it's worth doing. As you increase Equilibrium, enemies get more powerful. Stay caught up, and make yourself stronger too!

Farm Relics

Around this time is when you get yellow/gold quality Relics. This is the best kind with the highest stat bonuses. Before this, you should've farmed a set for your primary DPS but left the others on easy-to-get equipment sets. Now that the gold ones are available, you should start fixing your characters with the best-in-slot relics.

Generally, DPS characters want sets that match their element. There are a few exceptions, but it matters less. Tank characters would like the Knight of Purity Palace set, and support characters can use Guard of Wuthering Snow. Healers benefit the most from Passerby of Wandering Cloud. Of course, this isn't an inflexible rule; you can equip your characters with anything you deem fit.

Do Signs of Fragmentum

This is a challenge you can do in various places. There's one in Herta Space Station's Storage Zone. You can find two in the Silvermane Guard Restricted Zone. You can earn 180 Stellar Jades if you complete the challenge (30) and do the 3 objectives (10 x 3 = 30) for the three difficulties.

Like the Forgotten Hall, it has a turn limit that applies to all battles within the challenge. Defeat enemies as fast as possible to keep within it!

You also get some Relics from completing them for the first time. They're in purple quality, but they can do in a pinch if you have yet to farm the Cavern of Corrosion for them. It also rewards some EXP materials and Credits, which makes them worth doing.

Do the Forgotten Hall

The Forgotten Hall is a series of battles with turn limits. Use your best characters to end the fight quickly and keep more than one ally from getting knocked out. Each set of 3-star insignias earned by keeping to those limits will give you 200 Stellar Jades and 20,000 Credits. With 15 levels, that's 3,000 Jades up for grabs.

It's a boon for F2P players if they can get 3 insignias for every level. When they're done with that, they unlock the Memory of Chaos. Like the last 4 floors of the Spiral Abyss, those levels refresh after a set time, letting players farm their rewards again. That's 60 Stellar Jades per 3 stars, providing a farmable 600 Jades for 10 levels.

Of course, the first completion of levels also has other rewards, such as Lucent Fragments (exchanged for 4-star Light Cones), Credits, and EXP materials. Pay attention to the Forgotten Hall, or you'll miss all these great prizes!

Build Two Teams

In line with the above, you'll need two teams because starting from floor 11, the Forgotten Hall will ask for two teams to battle separate foes. Ideally, both teams would have a DPS, a Healer, a Tank, and a Support, but this can be flexible depending on who's on your roster.

Do the Simulated Universe

The Simulated Universe is another challenging feature of Honkai: Star Rail. It's a rogue-like dungeon crawler where many things are randomized. From your Blessings to the enemies and events you can encounter, you can never predict how a run will end.

Still, there are many rewards to be obtained from the Simulated Universe. Each run will award you some points. Once you've accumulated enough, you can earn a prize. This resets every week. Aside from that, you can get the following:

  • Trailblazer EXP
  • Stellar Jades
  • Star Rail Passes
  • Herta Bonds
  • Herta Eidolons (World 2, 4, and 6 first clear only)
  • Various material drops
  • Planar Ornaments (world 3+ only)

The first five are mostly first clear rewards, meaning you can't farm those from this feature. Which is okay because you'd be doing them for the last one anyway. Planar Ornaments are the two pieces of equipment to fill every slot in a character's Relic menu.

You'll need a bit of luck and your strongest characters to complete these Simulated Worlds!

Look for Chests

You've missed some chests unless you've been actively scouring each map. The map menu (Navigation) tells you how many chests there are in an area and how many you've found. Although it's a low value, these chests provide some Trailblazer EXP, so they're worth hunting down.

Try to Find Hidden Achievements or Quests

Investigate everything, and who knows? You might find some hidden treasure or a quest to do. These might give you a slight boost to Trailblazer EXP, but beggars can't be choosers. Still, it can fill some time when waiting for Trailblaze Power to regenerate. You can use a guide to find these subtle objectives if all else fails.

Pull for Characters

Whether you're a collector or need a specific character to fill a role in the party, this is something you can't avoid. Plus, if you're F2P and want to get that 300-pull guaranteed 5-star, you really want to do the activities above to get more Passes for Warps.

More characters mean more flexibility with your team compositions. However, it also means a heavier load for farming materials and resources. Still, it's a worthy trade-off, especially when you get a 5-star character.

There's Much to Do While Waiting

Eventually, we'll hit a rut when we've exhausted the game's new features. Still, most of these can be applicable even then. We can do all these things to fill the time while waiting for the next patch, or you can use an HSR service to hire someone to do it for you.
